Degassing Chamber

Many fabricators are unaware that this piece of equipment is available.

  • When your liquid resin, silicone or urethane (in a mixing cup) is placed into the chamber, you can apply vacuum to the chamber which helps bring air bubbles to the surface. 45 seconds under vacuum is usually enough to pull the majority of bubbles out of your liquid. If any bubbles remain at the surface, you can easily scoop them our or gently break them up with a mixing stick.
  • This process will greatly improve the results of your finished lamination or casting by removing air that was introduced in the mixing process.
  • Simple, yet effective!
